Respected Brother
Sadar Charan Sparsh

I would not know who did the finishing on the letter.. i.e. erasing the picture with white paint brush.. If it is you brother I beg your pardon.. it is not what you should have resorted to for removing what you thought may not be important..

The better way of doing such acts is to select a rectangular area that you want to retain i a photo or rather image, select copy and then paste it in a new file.. if you select the area as I do the result would be what I did to this image.. and I make it available on http://www.abhayaamitabh.blogspot.com just to make a point home and not in a manner to instill some elements of photoshop..

Coming to the reply of Dr. Coaldrake, I am convinced in my mind that propitious time would soon arrive when you would give the thanksgiving address at QUT after accepting the honor that you thoroughly deserve that truly would be a hallmark of improving and strengthening our relationship with Australia.. They are nice people the way hey have responded to your concern only proves my point.. I am also sure that you too would be able to see the logic in their plea..

Love you brother

Sadar Charan Sparsh

I did see the polling question.. I think his one has a too obvious answer does not warrant any debate on the issue.. yet we know how our media behaves.. and how we continue to behave the way we behave..

Some or the other day I would have been wished to be vociferous enough on some issues yet I backtrack my steps.. why should I invite the dagger to hang on my neck.. why should I lead the revolt when those who are capable in many ways do not.. why am I writing here sometimes does rake up a question in my mind.. how some of my remarks would be taken.. not by you but by those who may feel otherwise.. am I putting myself and my family in unwarranted danger of drawing the wrath of some unknown forces..

Yet I write here.. I try to dissociate away from what I really believe in.. I hold back some of my purest thinking just for the fear.. the constant fear as to how my views maybe twisted, twirled or treated at the hands of the ones who would not be thinking the way I have been thinking..

We talk of atrocities on Indians in Australia, UK or other foreign countries.. do we realise that crime des exist everywhere on this earth and calling the crime like treatment as racist vent out.. does it really sound logical.. Tomorrow if the Australian government decides to throw back all Indians in Australia back to us.. whether prime minister would be in a position to take them back and whether all those who are already there would like to come back to India.. knowing the crime rate here being worse than what thy may have to face there down under..

I fail to see light when I see the film stars, other than you getting involved in voicing their opinions.. You definitely had a point to convey when you decided to not accept the doctorate conferred upon you by the one Queensland University.. a very legitimate reaction.. ye it to could have different repercussions.. instead of calming the rough waters it could as well fuel fresh violence.. I see that crime does exist everywhere in the world and all of it can not be branded as entirely racist in nature.. even if it is racist in nature.. we have to first decide that whether it was right in the first place to send our students to Australia.. whatever Australians or Indians may feel.. I know Australian universities are not as well ranked in the world as some of the US or even Cambridge or Oxford of UK and a couple of other top academic centers of Europe.. the main reason for our students to rush to Australia is basically to have a foreign stamp over their education.. and a good kind of life that is available in Australia.. The cost of studying in Australia and New Zealand is well beyond the reaches of ordinarily placed Indians.. only a rich affluent section of India can afford to be there.. I see that as the primary reason of furore over the present crisis.. I may be entirely wrong in supporting my Australian citizens on the earth.. yet of whatever this situation has become every effort must be made to pacify the situation at the earliest.. There can not be two views that the government should have the first say in such matters.. Government on either side try to diffuse the situation amicably..

Brother, please do not take my views as opposing to the action that you took.. In case I was wearing your shoes I too would have behaved exactly the way you did.. our industry has made a couple of movies in that land and if everyone from Vivek to Aamir does raise his voice in the manner that they do.. it may become difficult for Indians to make films down under.. or so I believe.. You definitely have the right to behave the way you do.. you are one of the most balanced persons that the country has been blessed to possess..

Have a great day brother and do not get disturbed by whatever wrote here.. that was not my intention at all.. I maintain I love you and I admire your stand on the issue of taking or not taking the doctorate.. a personal decision.. and a commendable one..

Respected Brother
Sadar Pranaam

am not the least perturbed as my first reactions do not see the light of the day.. they were frank opinions.. but then frank opinions need not always be the best opinions.. I discover that after reading what Amrita- Calgary wrote.. It is simple for us to voice opr opinion one way or the other.. yet the repercussions that you may be faced with in the event of accepting the honor.. it could well be mishonored (The dictionary told me to use dishonored.. I choose to retain mishonored as it gives a better meaning in the context..) by media.. you can abstain from taking any step.. if that does help in diffusing the situation..

I know it is quite a difficult decision in any case.. one so padded up with the case of thorns with the roses.. you are the best judge.. please do not put us into such difficult situations to decide for you on such sensitive matters.. we might not be the best judges of such situations.. and brother.. you are such an honest man yet the media casts you into troubled waters.. I am sure they would seize either accepting or rejecting into their strides and write against you in either case.. the double edged sword is what they have acquired when it comes to deal with you.. to what eventual gains to them.. I fail to understand..

My vote changes to Can't say.. as I know it is a very very tricky situation..

My love for you, my admiring of the Bachchans, and my resolve to continue to write here is not going to get affected by whichever one way you decide in this particular dilemma that you are face to face with at the moment.. You have been quite considerate to seek our vote in such matters yet the decision would be yours and that is how the public (I mean media..) going to react to it.. they would not bother to know that you have discussed and debated the matter and derived the best action after a thoughtful time spent to back your action.. unhe is baat ki kahan parawaah hai.. unhe to bas aapke baare mein likhane se matlab hai.. chahe sach ho ya jhooth.. sahi ho ya galat.. unki sehat pe kya fark padata hai..

I think I must quit for now.. though I mus say that my first ideas were more correct I still back whatever decision you take in this matter.. but really do spend some time before acting one way or the other.. kept pending would be the best option..
